The Walnut Grove Neighborhood Association (WGNA) is located within the following boundaries, Gregory Boulevard on the north, East 79th Street on the south, Paseo Boulevard to the west, and Prospect Boulevard to the east.

- To improve the quality of life of persons living, working, or attending institutions within the WGNA area
- To promote crime prevention programs and activities
- To stabilize the housing stock by cultivating and promoting attractive, well-kept homes and buildings
- To strive for the improvement of public facilities and services within the WGNA area
- To foster better communication, community, and civic spirit to foster goodwill and friendship among all neighborhood residents
- To support municipal services of public safety, neighborhood improvement, and recreational activities and facilities
- To cooperate with county and city officials and with other civic and public organizations for the general welfare of the entire community of Kansas City, Missouri.
